Reading Challenge 2016/17
This year we are going around the world reading as many books as we can during the course of the year. The Reading Challenge is open to all KS2 children, who can register during their first classroom library visit.
HOW THE SCHEME WORKS
The Reading Challenge consists of reading up to 12 books within the school academic year and along the way children will receive Certificates of Achievement, presented in weekly assembly. Books read will consist of set titles for each year group and books of your own choice. Details of set titles are on display within the library for each year group.
Bronze = 4 books read (must include 1 set title).
Silver = 8 books read (must include a further 2 set titles).
Gold = 12 books read (must include a further 2 set titles).
At the end of the year a final review of achievement will be celebrated within class as the scheme closes again for another year.
Registration shall take place at your first class library visit week commencing 12th September 2016.
GOOD LUCK AND ENJOY READING!
