School Performance

Academic Results

Our results show that children achieve well academically, make steady progress and are well prepared for secondary school when they leave.  Please look at our latest headline results on the table below which  gives a broad picture of how our school is doing in comparison with schools nationally.

The latest DfE assessment was that our school progress was broadly average and progress was as good or better than about 60% of schools nationally.

As you can see from the table below the school's 2017 reading outcomes at KS1 were particularly strong and in the highest 10% nationwide.

We were also particularly pleased that in Year 1, 93% of our pupils were successful in their phonics screening compared to 81% nationally. This is the third year in a row that we have exceeded national average for phonics outcomes.

At Key Stage Two it was good to note that once again outcomes for pupils for Reading, Writing and Maths combined were above national average as this is a key indicator of academic achievement. Also outcomes for English, Grammar, Punctuation at Key Stage Two were once again very strong both at the expected standard and above it.

Cadbury Heath Primary School figures are in bold and National results are indicated in brackets for easy comparison:

* Due to our relatively small cohort size, 'confidence intervals' for our summer 2017  pupils  were wide.  Therefore caution needs to be taken when comparing our small cohort's progress figures to national average scores representing many thousands of pupils.
